Asphalt Removal & Replacement
Asphalt Removal and Replacement is the process of completely removing
all deteriorated asphalt, repairing the sub-base and installing new hot
mix asphalt. Asphalt removal and replacement is needed when the asphalt
is so severely deteriorated that it is beginning to undermine the
sub-grade material. Selective patching can be done to remove and
replace only the most deteriorated areas of your parking lot.
Asphalt Resurfacing or sometimes called an over-lay is the process of adding a new layer of asphalt over the existing surface. This type of paving is less costly than removing and replacing, but can only be done if the existing asphalt and sub-base are still intact. If the parking lot has severe cracking, it is recommended to apply a petromat fabric to avoid reflective cracking to the newly paved surface.
Catch Basin Installation and Repairs
Catch Basin Installation & Repairs. Over time catch basins deteriorate
and sink along with the asphalt around them. It is important to make
necessary repairs and do preventative maintenance before they
completely sink in. A sunken catch basin leaves you with an expensive
repair and a large liability issue.
Concrete Foundations. PaveWorks Inc. invested in concrete forms and is now providing builders and general contractors concrete foundations. Give us a call and we will arrange to pick up blue prints and get you an estimate on your next project.
Crack Sealing
Crack Sealing is the lowest cost asphalt maintenance process and the
most important. Cracks in the pavement should be filled annually.
Properly filling cracks helps them from spreading further and helps
protect water from reaching the sub-base. Doing this every year saves
you from the big resurface or removal and replacement job costs. Crack
filling also reduces the chance of a trip and fall liability on your
property. All cracks should be cleaned of debris and weeds prior to
crack sealing.
Line Striping
Line Striping is the final step in any paving or sealing project. A
freshly striped lot adds to the appearance and safety of your business,
increases parking and provides ADA compliance. We only use the highest
quality striping materials. We can provide striping services such as:
re-striping, custom lettering, indoor striping, custom stenciling,
painting of ballards, speed bumps and car bumpers, or removing any
unwanted markings. Line striping can be done at night when
stores/businesses are closed
Sealcoating
Sealcoating is one of the most important steps in maintaining your
parking lot. Sealcoating should be done every 2-3 years depending on
traffic and weather conditions. Sealcoating helps: slow oxidation and
water infiltration, block ultraviolet rays, ease the effects of
freeze/thaw cycles, makes the surface easier to clean/sweep, helps
prolong your investment and makes it look great! Sealcoating should only
be done when the weather is above 50 degrees f. and rising. Traffic
should be kept off the newly sealed area for 24 hours and sprinkler
systems should be turned off as well.
